Description:
A Urea plant downstream of Ammonia plant can accommodate a wide range of hydrocarbon feedstocks, including streams that contain CO2. Some or all of the ammonia produced is converted to urea by adjusting carbon dioxide levels. The design can also accommodate flexible skid-mounted urea formaldehyde unit to create a fully integrated solution at fertilizer complexes.Uses of Urea:
Over 90% of urea produced is used as a fertilizer, it has other uses, which include the manufacture of the melamine, used in melamine-methanal resins. Urea itself also forms important resins. An increasingly important use of urea is in reducing air pollution from diesel engines in cars, buses and lorries.- Plant Capacity: 500 KTA
- Feedstock: Ammonia
